As the year 2020 came to a close, the dragon-themed gaming category on Android devices saw a flurry of activity in Brazil. Sensor Tower has gathered data on the top performers in this niche, and here’s a snapshot of how they fared in the fourth quarter.

Dragon City Mobile from Social Point showed a strong presence in the market with a consistent upward trend in revenue, peaking at around $18K in the week leading up to Christmas. The game also saw a significant increase in downloads during the quarter, starting at around 59K and soaring to approximately 82K by the year's end. Weekly active users, however, experienced a decline from nearly 1M to just over 778K.

Gameloft SE's Dragon Mania Legends exhibited fluctuations in revenue, with a notable spike to about $3.4K in early November. Downloads for the game reached a high of around 42K in the same month but gradually tapered off to about 28K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight uptick from around 137K to just over 146K.

Dragon Drill, developed by WinterGameStudio, had no reported revenue but saw a varied download pattern with a peak at around 29K in November, followed by a dip and a subsequent rise to approximately 28K. The weekly active users count for Dragon Drill reflected a growth from about 31K to 44K over the quarter.

From Turbo Rocket Games, Dragon Sim Online: Be A Dragon had negligible revenue figures and a steady number of downloads starting and ending the quarter at around 18K. The game’s active users showed a more positive trend, growing from approximately 26K to 30K.

Lastly, Zynga’s Merge Dragons! witnessed a steady revenue with a high point of $13.5K in the final week of 2020. The download figures for the game fluctuated around 22K to 14K, while active users had a dip initially, from 103K to 90K, but recovered to surpass the 100K mark by the year's end.
